When embarking on a new educational journey, doubts often creep in, clouding our confidence and causing us to question our choices. However, for Tiffany @sfx.tiffany doubt was never part of the equation. Tiffany's unwavering belief in her path reflects her strong determination and enthusiasm for the makeup industry.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE AND ASPIRATIONS

Tiffany had already dipped her toes into the makeup industry, teaching herself the art of special effects makeup and working seasonally during Halloween. However, her main goal with the Special Effects Makeup Program was to elevate her skills to a professional level and gain a deeper understanding of various makeup techniques.

THE FASCINATING LEARNING JOURNEY

Tiffany said that the impact of the Online Makeup Academy's program on her life was nothing short of dramatic. She not only honed her special effects makeup skills but also learned valuable lessons in professionalism, such as setting up her workstation with precision. The program's influence extended beyond makeup techniques and touched every aspect of her budding career.

One of the standout features of our programs is the flexibility they offer. Tiffany found it easy to balance her everyday responsibilities with her studies, thanks to the self-paced nature of the program. With no deadlines and no pressure, she could seamlessly integrate her studies into her life. Tiffany appreciated the convenience of rewinding and rewatching lessons as needed. This flexibility allowed her to absorb the material thoroughly.

“I think the beauty of the Online Makeup Academy is that you can really work at your own pace. There are no deadlines, no pressure!”

The personalized video feedback from mentors was another highlight of Tiffany's educational experience. “I really loved the personalized videos because the feedback really helped me and showed me how to improve my craft,” she said. The constructive feedback provided her with invaluable insights and guidance on how to improve her craft, further accelerating her progress.

Tiffany found many aspects of the program intriguing, but what stood out the most were the revelations about her own makeup techniques. “The most interesting thing I found out was all the errors I was making when applying FX makeup,” Tiffany shares. Learning how to blend prosthetics for a natural finish and discovering product substitution tricks were eye-openers that expanded her skillset.

A BLOSSOMING CAREER

Tiffany's journey in the makeup industry has been nothing short of impressive. She has worked on numerous short films, commercials, music videos, plays, and fashion shows. Tiffany's portfolio is already bursting with work for big and famous brands such as Harper's Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Elle Magazine, NYFW The Shows, USA Today, iHeart Radio, Amazon, and more. Her passion for her work shines through every project she undertakes, making each day on set a favorite experience.

When asked about her proudest work, Tiffany pointed to her special effects makeup. The realism she achieves with her creations and the reactions she elicits from directors stand as a testament to her talent and dedication.

INSPIRATION AND FUTURE GOALS

Tiffany draws inspiration from the 90s and early 2000s, favoring a natural soft glam look. Her kit is filled with Ben Nye products, and she often incorporates an 80s or editorial vibe into her work, staying attuned to industry trends.

In the makeup industry, Tiffany's ultimate goals are to become the best makeup artist she can be, inspire others, and travel. Her passion and dedication continue to drive her towards these aspirations.
